Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced

Economics Teacher

to join our faculty, delivering high-quality teaching in accordance with the

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE)

curriculum. The ideal candidate will inspire, challenge, and empower students to achieve their highest potential in Economics at

IGCSE, AS, and A-Level

.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Economics lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and a global perspective. Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments, Cambridge external examinations, and coursework. Use a variety of teaching strategies and modern educational tools to meet the needs of diverse learners. Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Participate actively in departmental planning, professional development sessions, and school events. Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Economics

or a related field. A recognized

teaching qualification

(B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent). Prior experience teaching Economics within the

Cambridge International curriculum

is highly preferred. Strong understanding of CAIE syllabus content, assessment standards, and marking schemes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. A commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
