Position Overview:

We invite applications for the position of IGCSE Economics & Business Studies Teacher. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring educator who can engage students in understanding economic principles, business dynamics, and global market trends through experiential and inquiry-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the

Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455) and Business Studies (0450) syllabi.

Foster analytical thinking, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving through real-world case studies and discussions. Prepare students effectively for both internal assessments and external Cambridge examinations. Integrate technology, current affairs, and financial literacy into classroom learning. Assess, record, and report student progress in accordance with Cambridge and school standards. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary learning experiences and contribute to curriculum enrichment. Encourage participation in business fairs, economic simulations, and entrepreneurial projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Economics, Business, Commerce, or related field

. Teaching qualification preferred (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent). Prior experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics or Business Studies (0455/0450) or equivalent international curriculum. Strong subject knowledge and ability to connect concepts to real-life scenarios. Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills.
