Website Tester
to ensure every feature runs smoothly and our customers have a flawless experience.
Responsibilities:
Test website functionality, including checkout, quote calculators, forms, and navigation.
Identify, document, and report bugs or usability issues clearly to the development team.
Perform browser, device, and operating system compatibility testing.
Verify that new website features and updates work as expected before going live.
Conduct regression testing after fixes or updates.
Check page speed, responsiveness, and broken links.
Ensure all website visuals, text, and images are correctly displayed and formatted.
Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to maintain quality.
Provide feedback on user experience and suggest improvements.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript preferred).
Previous experience in website or software testing is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
Familiarity with tools like Google Chrome DevTools, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse is an advantage.
Highly self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
Benefits:
