The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales channels to drive traffic, increase conversions, and enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, data-driven individual with hands-on experience in a D2C environment, particularly within the beauty or consumer goods sector.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Management:
Manage the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Myntra, Indiamart, Flipkart etc), including product listing, pricing, and inventory management.
SEO:
Optimize product pages and website content with relevant keywords to improve organic search rankings.
Email & SMS Marketing:
Create and manage campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, and promotions.
Customer Experience:
Monitor and enhance the customer journey from discovery to post-purchase. This includes optimizing the website's user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to improve conversion rates.
Data Analysis:
Use tools like Google Analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (LTV). Generate reports and provide data-driven insights to guide business decisions.
Customer Service & Operations:
Assist with customer inquiries, order processing, and logistics coordination to ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to identify opportunities for growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
1-3 years of hands-on experience in an e-commerce preferably with a D2C brand.
Proficiency with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon, Myntra, IndiaMart
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, email marketing, and social media.
Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write compelling product descriptions and marketing copy.
A data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
A proactive, results-oriented attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English and Hindi
