About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

E-commerce Accounts & Reconciliation Executive

to handle payment and inventory reconciliation across leading marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Jiomart. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and prior hands-on experience in e-commerce finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Reconcile

payments, settlements, and fee deductions

from e-commerce platforms with internal accounting and sales data. Perform

inventory reconciliation

across FBA, warehouse, and return channels ensuring system data matches actual stock movement. Identify and resolve discrepancies in orders, returns, and claims related to lost, damaged, or unaccounted stock. Coordinate with marketplace support teams for reimbursement and payment recovery. Maintain structured records of

payment reports, settlements, credit notes, and claims

for audit and reporting purposes. Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate reflection of e-commerce transactions in the books of accounts. Generate periodic reconciliation summaries and exception reports for management review. Support process improvement by suggesting automation or better data tracking methods to minimize manual effort.

Preferred Skills & Experience

2-4 years of hands-on experience in

e-commerce finance or reconciliation

(Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, etc.). Solid understanding of

accounting principles

, including sales, returns, and settlement flows. Proficiency in

Excel / Google Sheets and SQL / R (is an advantage)

and working with large data sets. Experience with

Tally, BUSY, FCA, or ERP systems

preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication and coordination abilities across finance and operations functions.
