A leading client of CareerBricks in the e-commerce space is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operational performance across platforms. This role is critical in ensuring seamless order processing, inventory accuracy, timely fulfilment, returns management, and service quality.
You will manage daily operations across warehouses, last-mile partners, customer support teams, and marketplace interfaces. Responsibilities include building and optimising SOPs, monitoring operational KPIs, managing SLAs, analysing bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements to reduce costs and improve turnaround time. You will also work closely with category, tech, marketing, and finance teams to ensure operational readiness for campaigns, sales events, and new launches.
The role requires a strong balance of execution and strategy - from firefighting day-to-day issues to building scalable systems that support growth. You will lead and mentor operations teams, manage third-party logistics vendors, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Experience in high-volume environments and comfort working with dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics tools is essential.
Requirements
Graduate/MBA preferred
8-14 years of experience in e-commerce or retail operations
Strong understanding of fulfilment, logistics, and customer operations
Proven people and vendor management experience
