E-Commerce Operations Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

E-Commerce Operations Assistant

to support the daily operations of our online uniform and apparel business. This role involves data entry, order processing, coordinating with the production team, and ensuring all orders move smoothly through each stage with accurate and timely updates.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing:

Review, verify, and process new orders in the system.

Order Monitoring:

Track orders through every stage (design, production, packing, dispatch) to ensure they are progressing on time.

Production Support:

Coordinate with the design and production teams regarding pending tasks, missing information, and priority orders.

Issue Resolution:

Identify delays, errors, or missing information early and escalate to the relevant team.

Dispatch Coordination:

Confirm shipping details, update courier selections, and make sure orders are sent with the correct method (Express, Standard, etc.).

Reporting:

Provide daily updates on pending orders, delayed jobs, out-of-stock items, and production queues.

Quality Checks:

Verify that customer instructions, colour selections, sizes, and print positions are consistent before sending to production.

Support Tasks:

Assist the team with administrative duties, follow-ups, and backend housekeeping as required.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Experience in e-commerce operations, order management, or admin preferred. Basic computer skills -- ability to work with spreadsheets, order management systems, and internal tools. Ability to work with cross-functional teams (design, production, customer service).

Preferred Skills

Experience in apparel, printing, or embroidery industry (not essential but helpful). Familiarity with order tracking systems and backend management.
