Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven
Ecommerce Manager
to spearhead our digital sales strategy. This role involves managing our own website, online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart), and quick commerce platforms (e.g., Zepto, BlinkIt), ensuring consistent growth through optimized listings, pricing, campaigns, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Website & Digital Store Management
Maintain and optimize product listings, inventory, and pricing on the company website
Track website performance, traffic, and conversions
Improve user experience (UX), drive conversions, and coordinate with the tech team
2.
Marketplace Management (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
Create high-quality listings with compelling content
Monitor order fulfillment, returns, pricing, and promotions
Maintain platform health and resolve compliance issues
3.
Ensure live inventory and availability
Coordinate with distributors and SS partners
Negotiate visibility, placements, and offers with platform managers
4.
Pricing, Offers & Discount Strategy
Benchmark competition and define pricing strategies
Implement and analyze promotional campaigns
Coordinate pricing with Finance and SCM teams
5.
Customer Feedback & Experience
Respond to customer reviews and complaints across platforms
Track satisfaction metrics and implement improvements
Drive positive feedback and manage reputation
6.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
Run and optimize paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta)
Monitor ad performance: CTR, ROAS, conversions
Work with creative teams for visuals and messaging
7.
Product Listings Optimization
Use SEO and keyword optimization across listings
Ensure quality images, mobile responsiveness, and compliance
Conduct A/B tests and update listings based on performance
8.
Platform Relationship Management
Engage with category managers for co-branded campaigns
Secure visibility slots and ad grants
Attend webinars and vendor summits
9.
Competitive Intelligence
Track competitor pricing, offers, product mix
Recommend changes based on trends and market gaps
10.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare sales dashboards and performance reports
Track KPIs: GMV, AOV, conversion rates, returns
Provide insights to leadership and suggest improvements
Additional Responsibilities
Coordinate with Finance & SCM for alignment on pricing and stock
Lead SKU expansion for online retail
Ensure consistent brand representation across channels
Stay current with D2C, q-commerce, and eCommerce trends
Contribute to annual eCommerce and digital marketing budgets
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in eCommerce/digital sales in FMCG/dairy or food products
Skills:
Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, analytics, and supply coordination
Other:
Must own a two-wheeler with valid license and insurance
Passion for supporting local farmers and sustainable practices
