Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced
Senior E-commerce Manager
to lead our digital sales initiatives and manage end-to-end operations across multiple online channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing e-commerce strategies to increase sales, improve customer experience, and optimize the performance of all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies across D2C platforms, marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.), and brand websites.
Manage product listings, pricing strategies, digital cataloging, and merchandising across all platforms.
Monitor and analyze KPIs including sales performance, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and ROI.
Drive online marketing campaigns in collaboration with the digital marketing team (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, influencer marketing).
Coordinate with inventory, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and a high-quality customer experience.
Identify growth opportunities through promotions, partnerships, and new platform launches.
Oversee marketplace relationships and ensure compliance with platform policies and best practices.
Forecast demand and sales trends to guide inventory planning and procurement decisions.
Work closely with finance and accounts teams to reconcile revenue, commissions, and platform deductions.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and technological innovations in e-commerce.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
6-10 years of experience in e-commerce management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
Proven track record in scaling online business revenue and improving performance metrics.
Strong knowledge of marketplace operations (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and D2C platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in fashion, FMCG, electronics, or consumer goods domain.
Knowledge of CRM systems, ERP tools, and inventory management software.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
