Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented E-Commerce Fashion Designer with 1-2 years of experience in women's apparel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing contemporary styles for online retail, adapting to current trends, and ensuring product appeal for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop women's wear collections (ethnic, fusion, or western) suited for online consumers. Create mood boards, design sketches, and tech packs for each collection. Coordinate with merchandising and production teams to ensure timely sampling and quality checks. Stay updated on fashion and e-commerce trends; suggest fresh and saleable styles accordingly. Develop digital design assets: flat lays, mockups, prints, and product visualization for online listings. Collaborate with the content and photo team to guide styling and photoshoots for e-commerce catalogs. Track performance of designs on online platforms and adapt styles based on customer feedback.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field. 1-2 years of work experience in women's fashion, preferably in an e-commerce or D2C brand. Strong knowledge of fabric, garment construction, and fit. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design software. Understanding of digital commerce aesthetics and consumer preferences. Excellent trend research and creative visualization skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in ethnic/Indo-western fashion is a plus. Understanding of e-commerce platforms like Myntra, Amazon, Nykaa Fashion, etc. Eye for detailing, color coordination, and commercial viability.
