E-Commerce Executive / Marketplace cum Catalog Executive will oversee product listings, catalog management, and daily operations across multiple online marketplaces. This role ensures accurate product uploads, pricing, and inventory coordination while maintaining compliance with marketplace standards to drive sales, improve customer experience, and strengthen brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Management
Manage product listings on marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, etc.
Monitor marketplace dashboards for orders, returns, cancellations, and customer queries.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and stock availability.
Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, SLAs, and operational guidelines.
Catalog Management
Create, upload, and maintain accurate product catalogs, including product titles, descriptions, bullet points, attributes, SKU codes, sizes, colors, fabrics, and pricing.
Ensure high-quality product images are uploaded as per marketplace standards.
Regularly audit listings to identify and correct errors, missing details, or outdated information.
Update catalogs for new launches, seasonal changes, discounts, and promotional campaigns.
Pricing & Inventory Coordination
Assist in updating pricing, offers, discounts, and promotional campaigns across marketplaces.
Coordinate with the inventory/warehouse team to maintain stock accuracy.
Track low-stock and out-of-stock products and update listings accordingly.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor product performance, listing health, and sales metrics.
Prepare periodic reports on catalog status, live listings, and operational issues.
Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, conversions, and sales performance.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with design, merchandising, marketing, warehouse, and customer support teams.
Support campaign execution during sales events and festive promotions.
Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of e-commerce marketplaces and catalog operations
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Excel
Ability to manage multiple SKUs and platforms simultaneously
Good written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (Business, Commerce, Fashion, or related fields preferred)
0-3 years of experience in e-commerce, catalog management, or marketplace operations
Freshers with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply
Preferred Experience (Good to Have)
Experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands
Familiarity with seller panels of major marketplaces
Basic understanding of SEO for product listings
