Key Responsibilities
Manage all accounting activities for our e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, and our own website.
Reconcile online sales, payments, commissions, returns, and deductions to ensure all transactions are accurate.
Record and verify daily sales orders, invoices, credit notes, and payment settlements.
Keep books of accounts up to date and compliant with accounting standards and GST regulations.
Track payment cycles and follow up with platforms for any pending or delayed settlements.
Work closely with the sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve stock, pricing, or order discrepancies.
Prepare monthly financial reports showing revenue, expenses, and profitability for all e-commerce channels.
Provide accurate data and support during audits and financial reviews.
Stay informed about marketplace policies, taxation rules, and updates in accounting software.
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of experience
in e-commerce accounting or a similar finance role.
Practical knowledge of accounting software such as
Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems
.
Strong understanding of
GST, TDS
, and the process of reconciling e-commerce transactions.
Skilled in
MS Excel
, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized with good communication skills.
