We are expanding our team and looking for a strategic, data-savvy
E-commerce Account Manager
to lead client accounts, drive growth, and ensure high performance across marketplace platforms.
Role Overview
As an E-commerce Account Manager, you will own the success of key client accounts and act as the main point of contact for their e-commerce operations. You'll lead strategy execution, performance tracking, and team coordination across multiple marketplaces, ensuring revenue growth and flawless delivery. This role is ideal for someone who combines analytical thinking with project management, and is passionate about brand growth in the digital commerce space.
Own client communication, performance updates, and planning.
Understand the client's category, competitors, and growth goals to co-develop monthly/quarterly action plans.
Drive e-commerce strategies including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, advertising, and growth levers.
Marketplace & Listing Optimization
Oversee product listings, A+ content, brand stores, and ensure listing hygiene and keyword optimization.
Manage new launches and seasonal SKU rollouts across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify.
Ensure listings follow platform guidelines and meet brand tone and SEO standards.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Analyze weekly and monthly sales performance, ad reports, and category trends to recommend strategic actions.
Present insights to clients on what's working, what needs improvement, and where opportunities lie.
Build dashboards and reports for internal and client use using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
Team Coordination & Execution Oversight
Work closely with internal team members (content, ads, ops) to execute tasks like listing updates, stock coordination, and case management.
Delegate, track, and QA the output of junior team members and executives assigned to your accounts.
Flag risks or blockers early and coordinate cross-functionally for resolution.
Advertising & Promotions
Collaborate with ad specialists or manage PPC execution directly (Amazon Ads etc.)
Plan and optimize campaigns to drive traffic, ROAS, and conversions.
Track share of voice, ad performance, and implement learnings.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)
Experience:
2-4 years of experience managing e-commerce accounts, preferably on Amazon, Walmart, or Shopify. Agency-side or marketplace-side experience preferred.
Platform Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Walmart Seller Center, Shopify, etc.
Client-Facing Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills to manage client relationships and calls.
Analytical:
Strong comfort with Excel/Google Sheets, sales data analysis, and report creation.
Project Management:
Able to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and coordinate internal stakeholders.
Problem Solver:
Proactive in identifying issues (stockouts, performance dips, listing problems) and leading resolution.
Strategic Thinker:
Ability to tie day-to-day operations to bigger business goals and growth KPIs.
