We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Echo Technician to perform echocardiography and cardiac diagnostic tests, including 2D Echo, Doppler, 24-hour Holter Monitoring, and Treadmill Tests (TMT). The ideal candidate should ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, accurate reporting, and support cardiologists in diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities
Perform echocardiography procedures including 2D Echo and Doppler studies
Conduct 24-hour Holter Monitor setup, monitoring, and data preparation
Perform Treadmill Tests (TMT) following standard cardiac stress protocols
Operate ultrasound and cardiac diagnostic equipment to obtain accurate results
Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy
Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal findings immediately
Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and test data
Follow hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
Maintain and calibrate echo and cardiac testing equipment
Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and cardiac evaluation procedures
Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns professionally
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical medical practices
Required Qualifications
Degree in Echocardiography / Cardiac Technology / Allied Health Sciences
Certification or registration in relevant cardiac technology preferred
Experience in Echo, Holter Monitoring, and TMT is an added advantage
Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical documentation
