Job Opening: EC Secretariat - Clinical Research (Part Time)

Job Purpose

:

The EC Secretariat ensures the smooth, compliant, and ethical functioning of the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC). This role is critical in maintaining transparency, documentation, regulatory compliance, and patient safety in clinical research oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

IEC Administration & Documentation:

Maintain records, SOPs, member credentials, agendas, and meeting minutes.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to DCGI, ICMR, NABH, and GCP guidelines; manage IEC registration and renewals.

Coordination & Communication:

Act as liaison between investigators, sponsors, and IEC members; communicate decisions promptly.

Clinical Trial Oversight:

Verify submissions, monitor ongoing studies, and ensure timely reviews.

Quality & Accreditation Alignment:

Implement NABH requirements, conduct audits, and prepare for accreditation assessments.

Role Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in clinical research, ethics committee coordination, or regulatory affairs. Strong knowledge of DCGI, NABH, and ICMR guidelines. Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with high ethical standards.
