The e-Business Analyst will support the global SEM & Display team in the Biosciences Division, nested under the Life Sciences and Laboratory Products Group, with analysis, reporting and actionable recommendations on past and current marketing initiatives to optimize channel performance. Additionally, this role will provide budget forecasts and investment recommendations for SEM and Display to drive channel KPIs like Revenue, ROAS and site engagement. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in building and automating reports and visualizing data in tools like Adobe Analytics or PowerBI. Knowledge of digital channels like programmatic display and paid search (SEM) is a must. This role will perform in-depth data analysis and visualization tasks to promote data-driven decisions in our digital marketing channels. The candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, analytical and constantly looking for new opportunities to improve performance and efficiency of our SEM and display campaigns. What will you do?

  • Work as part of Paid Media (SEM & Display) Team to measure and report on all BID SEM & Display campaign initiatives
  • Streamline current reporting and budget forecasting processes to achieve time savings for the entire team
  • Develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards; monitor, analyze, and tune reporting to improve digital marketing program success
  • Manage and track multiple projects independently, prioritizing high-impact projects
  • Handle and integrate large volumes of data from various sources and come up with actionable insights
  • Track search and display spend, identify opportunities for increased investment as well as cost savings to maximize return on investment
  • Communicate performance of search and display campaigns with recommendations, translating data into actionable insights driving KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, communicate regularly with stakeholders to develop an up-to-date and in-depth understanding of business strategy and goals
  • Prioritize projects based on projected impact and ensure deliverables are accurate, efficient, and adequately address root causes
  • Stay up to date with industry updates that require data insights to inform long-term channel strategy
  • Provide project status updates to the supervisor and business partners to set expectations on timelines, accomplishments, open questions, and risks
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and follow agile principles as part of an agile team, leveraging project management software
  • Be available during off-hours to participate in meetings with team members based in the US
How will you get here? Education Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree required Experience Required
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B customer-driven digital marketing or eCommerce
  • Advanced experience (min. 4 years) with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Advanced experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Advanced experience in budget forecasting for digital marketing channels for large annual budgets (>$15MM)
  • Strong Excel skills for bulk operations and process improvements
  • Experience managing multiple strategic stakeholders including ownership and oversight of large budgets
Preferred
  • Hands-on experience (at least 2 years) with PowerBI
  • Advanced understanding of paid search (SEM) and respective channel systems (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads or other paid search engines, Adobe Media Optimizer, Kenshoo, Marin, DoubleClick or Search Ads 360)
  • Advanced understanding of programmatic display and respective channel tools (DSP or ad exchange like Adobe Ad Cloud, Sizmek, The Trade Desk or DV360)
  • Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to business partners on a regular basis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to analyze large and complex sets of data from multiple sources
  • Use data and dashboards to inform our team with keen insights on improving KPIs
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude who is prepared to go the extra mile to accomplish business objectives
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in agile methodology within a marketing organization is a plus
