Section A: Purpose of the Job:
Purpose
To continuously enhance alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness while raising standards of excellence across the function/s by implementing EBS tools and methodologies.

EBS Leadership
Play a pivotal role in adoption of EBS practices across the assigned function/s
Continuous improvement in EBS Maturity Score (EBSMS) - Enablers score.
Prioritise and act on gaps and improvement areas identified through EBSMS assessment.
Bring in functional expertise and co-own the design and development of functional processes
Deficiencies in current processes and lack of processes are promptly addressed.
Internal/ external audits for checking adequacy of business processes.
Address gaps, if appropriate.
Become an expert in EBS tools
Attain proficiency levels required for EBS Champions.
Complete EBS training modules as required for the role.
Pickup chronic issues and proactively work with teams to solve them using EBS tools.
Actively engage in strategic initiatives and case studies development.
Be a training & development resource for EBS tools
Adherence to Training calendar
Ensure all team members in the function/s are minimum Level 1 certified for EBS.
Training needs identification for EBS specific areas
by themselves and in consultation with functional head and other senior team member in the function.
Facilitate reviews
Adherence to Review Calendar.
Prepare review calendar in consultation with functional head.
Facilitate prompt closure of MOM points.

Ensure RCAs and CAPAs are of high standard
Maximize scores for RCAs and CAPAs in the EBSMM audit.
Instances of reopening and reoccurrence are minimal.
Training on RCA and CAPA.
Guide teams on improving CAPA quality.
Develop case bank for all departments
Case bank available and up to date, used for internal training.
Select relevant shining CAPAs and convert them into case studies.
Facilitate preparation and maintenance of documentation
Document prepared and maintained for various initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Standardization of documentation and use of appropriate formats as required by EBS.
Facilitate audits and diagnosis
Adherence to audit calendar
Facilitate prompt closure of MOM points.
Collaborate with various team members for smooth conduct of audits.
Present audit findings to functional head and other functional team members as required.
Constantly look for opportunities to automate data collection and digitalize operations.
Improvement in % of data points that are auto captured.
Automated dashboards available for EBS related metrics.
Prioritizing areas / projects to address.

Consistently improve EBS maturity level
Improvement in EBS Maturity Score.
Prioritization of gaps identified through EBSMS assessment.
Periodic reviews with functional head and other functional team members as required.
Actively collaborate with leaders and other functional team members as required. to ensure their issues are resolved using EBS methodologies and tools
Sporadic and Chronic issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Being proactive and sensitizing the concerned teams to prioritize issues to resolve.
Enlist the support and involvement of functional head and other functional team members as required for resolving such issues.
Enhance problem solving skills of the team
Increased levels of adoption of advanced problem-solving tools by team members.
Training to be conducted as per training calendar
Pickup issues and proactively work with teams to solve them using basic and advanced problem- solving tools.
Act as a catalyst in driving Continuous improvement
Improvement in EBS Maturity Score - Enablers Score for continuous improvement.
Training on tools (Kaizen/ basic problem solving/ advance problem solving)

Desired Qualification
Desired Experience
Any bachelor's degree from a reputed institution.
At least 10 years' experience in the function pertaining to this role
Knowledge / experience in a business environment where TQM or other business excellence initiatives have been adopted would be an advantage.
