Job Purpose
To provide high-level administrative, coordination, and strategic support to the Managing Director in day-to-day operations of the iron manufacturing business, ensuring smooth communication, efficient planning, and effective execution across plant, commercial, finance, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive & Administrative Support
Manage MD's calendar, appointments, meetings, travel, and plant visit schedules
Draft, review, and manage emails, letters, presentations, MOMs, and confidential documents
Act as a primary point of contact between MD and internal/external stakeholders
2. Coordination with Plant & Operations
Coordinate with Plant Head, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams
Track daily/weekly/monthly production reports (Sponge Iron / Billets / TMT / Pig Iron)
Follow up on shutdown schedules, breakdowns, and CAPEX projects
3. Business Review & Reporting
Prepare MIS reports related to:
Production & capacity utilization
Cost control & operational efficiency
Sales dispatch & inventory
Consolidate data from departments and present dashboards to MD
4. Strategic & Management Support
Assist MD in strategic planning, board meetings, and review meetings
Track action points from meetings and ensure timely closure
Support decision-making with data analysis and summaries
5. External & Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with vendors, customers, consultants, bankers, auditors, and government authorities
Coordinate with legal, compliance, and statutory teams (Pollution Control, Factory Inspectorate, etc.)
6. Confidentiality & Compliance
Handle sensitive company and MD-related information with strict confidentiality
Ensure adherence to company policies and governance standards
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination & follow-up skills
Excellent written & verbal communication
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, ERP/MIS systems
Ability to understand manufacturing & plant operations
High integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Qualification & Experience
Graduate / MBA preferred
4-10 years of experience as EA / PA to Senior Management
Prior exposure to Iron / Steel / Manufacturing / Power / Heavy Industry preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience working in plant-based or industrial organizations
Comfortable interacting with cross-functional leadership teams
Willing to travel to plant locations if required
CTC
As per industry standards & experience (Negotiable)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
