Within the Digital function, the Governance and Transformation department plays a key transversal role in enabling the Digital Transformation, from FRAMING - expressing strategic intentions and defining simple, flexible and scalable frames - to SUPPORTING Domains and PSL's while ensuring alignment between functions and divisions - to REPORTING through consolidated views, highlighting hotspots and relevant needs for support & decision-making.
In India, the Digital Strategy, Governance & Transformation team plays a key transversal role promoting synergies between multiple domains across Airbus worldwide with a flexible and adaptable approach which helps in sharing best practices, architecture, innovation, operational excellence and being efficient with cost, quality and time.
Furthermore, Airbus Defence and Space leads the transformation of the aerospace industry by leading the green commercial aviation roadmap while meeting Environmental, Societal & Governance expectations, in particular with ZEROe and Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
In this context, a position has become available in the Architecture Governance & Repository team within Airbus Defence and Space. The team's core mission is to provide and maintain transparency over the architecture landscape throughout the enterprise ensuring its quality and completeness to enable strategic decisions to be made based on up-to-date and accurate information. The team is also responsible for delivering and maintaining the enterprise architecture repository product and service that supports the enterprise architecture process within the division.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operations of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) repository ecosystem.
Delivers and deploys the EA repository with end-to-end accountability in conjunction with the Product Manager.
Responsible for the implementation of the product evolution backlog as well as its data model standards and its interactions with other systems
Performs the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
Responsible for the analysis of console messages, diagnoses system failures and takes corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as needed.
Verifies system backup processing, and leads disaster recovery tests Identifies and implements technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the system environment
Responsible for the provisioning of detailed records of system configurations, procedures, and maintenance activities, encompassing all related documentation part of the systems knowledge base
Qualification & Experience:
A Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with overall 8+ years of software development experience:
Many years of exp in scripting language towards front-end implementation projects
Should have good knowledge in API Management.
Experience in handling database scripting - SQL
Good knowledge of NodeJS, Angular JS, Container, Angular, Jenkins - Write code, review code and follow best practices
Knowledge in Application architecture.
Should have experience in agile software development projects and familiar with agile project management methods and processes.
Integration using Web services between web applications
Exposure to cloud platforms of AWS is desired
Good to have: Proven experience as development and maintenance on Alfabet technology by Bizzdesign.
Knowledge in designing and architecting LowCode, no code platforms.
Sense of detail and passion for software and technologies that solve problems.
Ability to handle a subject from demand management, to development and support.
Ability to challenge the needs of the clients and provide appropriate solutions.
Curiosity & team player attitude, with a wish to evolve with your team.
Ensures quality, security and eco-design of the application.
Prioritize and steer the implementation of new business demands.
Being involved in all parts of the product life cycle: idea generation, design, prototyping, planning, development, test, deployment and operations.
Advising on necessary software and infrastructure changes and evolution.
Develop, support other developers, define application technical architecture and tech stack, ownership of the code.
Technology Experience desired - MS SQL Server, ASP Dot Net, Dot Net Framework 4.8
English language proficiency
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and integrate in a transnational team setup
ITIL certification is an advantage
