We are looking for an experienced Senior D365 F&O SCM Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end configuration and implementation of Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise across SCM modules, a strong understanding of Microsoft best practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable D365 solutions with minimal customization.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Functional Ownership
Own end-to-end SCM configuration across procurement, inventory, warehousing, planning, and sales
Act as the primary SCM functional point of contact for stakeholders
Lead SCM-related upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts
Inventory Management
Configure inventory model groups and item model groups
Define inventory dimensions, reservation hierarchies, and status controls
Configure inventory journals and processes
Warehouse Management (Advanced WMS)
Configure warehouses, locations, and zones
Define wave templates, work templates, and mobile device menus
Optimize picking, putaway, replenishment, and cross-docking
Product Information Management
Configure product lifecycle states
Manage product attributes, variants, and categories
Set up released product templates and default order settings
Procurement & Sourcing
Configure vendors, trade agreements, and workflows
Set up purchase requisitions, RFQs, approvals, and sourcing rules
Sales & Distribution
Configure sales order types
Set up pricing, discounts, delivery modes
Define reservation and fulfillment rules
Master Planning (MRP)
Configure coverage groups, safety stock, and planning parameters
Maintain lead times, calendars, and planning setups
Additional Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into functional D365 solutions
Support functional testing, UAT, and end-user training
Create functional documentation and solution design documents
Lead functional discussions independently with business users
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of ERP functional experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O SCM
Strong expertise in Inventory, WMS, Procurement, Sales, and MRP
Proven experience in multi-legal entity / multi-country implementations
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
Microsoft Certifications: MB-300, MB-330, MB-335
Experience with Data Entities and Dual-Write
Knowledge of integrations (Logic Apps, Power Automate - nice to have)
Azure DevOps for project tracking
Exposure to ISV solutions (WMS add-ons, demand planning tools)
Agile or hybrid delivery experience
