to support our textile dyeing laboratory. This role is responsible for preparing dye solutions, running lab dip tests, evaluating colours, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working with chemicals and textile materials.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare dye solutions, chemicals, and lab samples according to formulas.
Conduct lab dip dyeing tests using laboratory dyeing equipment.
Assist with colour matching using spectrophotometers or visual assessments.
Record all data, formulas, and test results accurately.
Perform basic quality checks such as shade evaluation and colourfastness tests.
Help scale lab dip formulas for production when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and order of the dye lab and equipment.
Follow all safety guidelines for chemical handling and PPE.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; coursework in textiles, chemistry, or related fields is a plus.
Prior experience in a dyeing lab or textile environment preferred but not required.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and measure ingredients accurately.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
