Job Description

Position Summary:



Responsible for maintaining Maintenance metrics in his area in line with AOP. Equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, Maintenance Cost and Kaizen in line with AOP. Learning, Training and development on new technologies, look constantly for new technology upgrades which can improve performance of the function. Also, to drive GEM, HSE and Quality systems and processes in the team.


Key Job Areas of Responsibilities



Responsible to maintain and overdrive Equipment Availability, MTBF & MTTR, RTY, OEE as per AOP.


# Strong mechanical hold on fully automated assembly lines, Grinding, laser welding, Electron beam weld, CNC turning, VMC, Robotics, balancing machines, is must.


# CNC knowhow, part programming, parameter tuning.


# In depth Knowledge of Grinding process, welding process and Balancing Technologies.


# Hands on Maintenance experience and trouble shooting skills on hydraulics, pneumatics, electricals, PLC, toolings


# Responsible to drive RCA for repeat issues and major issues impacting deliverables with ICA and PCA


# As a leader provides support team by training, coaching and mentoring.


# Responsible for day to Critical breakdown issue resolution. "


# Responsible to work on Repetitive issues and coming up with actions and permanent resolution of the same.


# Responsible for adherence to all the safety and environmental rules in his own area


# Ensures continuous improvement in his area by using Kaizen, RCA and Gemba.


# Spares to be identified, analyzed and ensure availability of same.


# Spares Cost Reduction through Localization, Developing local Cost competitive suppliers


# Interaction with technical Team and supplier in resolving machine related issues.


# Drive the Escalation Process and quick problem resolution



Drive energy and cost reduction initiative kaizens


Manage the Vendor AMC's


Continuous Improvement & Excellence


Drive functional excellence as per GEM guidelines


Lead RCA, Kaizen, MOC initiatives for sustained improvements


Promote a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving



Education / Qualifications



Bachelor's degree Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related work experience.


Six Sigma GB must be certified.

Experience



7-8 years of Maintenance experience



Key Skills and Knowledge



Minimum requirements required for employee to do the job" "Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing systems and equipment, Hands on experience in Siemens PLC, SINAMICS & Fanuc Drives, Vision systems and Tightning systems. Proficiency in maintenance KPIs and data-driven decision-making. Experience in spares planning,


shop floor connect with internal customers and quality related tools RCCA, Kaizens & FMEAC of machines


Familiarity with HSE regulations and compliance frameworks. Leadership in cross-functional collaboration and team development.


Competency in digital tools for maintenance. Strategic thinking and ability to align operations with business goals.
