Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Independently handling of heat treatment shop with sound grip on furnace trouble shooting. Design a heat treatment process for different grade of steels independently. Analyse the efffect of earlier processes on heat treatment of steel. Emergency handling like power cut, gas cut, gas leakage, high understanding of safety etc production planning, shop floor management to have maximum utilization. Metallurgical Failure analysis of all customer issues (In-house, User plant, Field) Preferred Industries Manufacturing Manufacturing and Pr Manufacturing & Trad Education Qualification Diploma General Experience 4-8 Years Critical Experience Sound knowledge of metallurgy of steels. Sound knowledge of furnace & process Design/ Controls. Knowledge of gasses used in HT for different processes Sound knowledge of various heat treatment processes like Case, induction, vacuum hardening, etc. Should know fixtures and its planning, there material, their performance Indepth knowledge of TPM - JH (Autonomous maintenance), PM, KK (Kaizen), SHE, QM Sound knowledge of cost structure in HT ability to monitor, control & reduce energy consumption. Sound knowledge/ hands on experience of metallurgical lab related activities. Must be familiar with QMS, EMS, CQI 9, various national/ International standards.
