Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables


Prevention and control from Fire through proactive measures in case of fire breakdown to protect people, property and the environment from the destructive effects of fire .

Process Improvement in terms of fire systems and Audits

Design, installation, maintenance and/or development of fire detection, fire suppression, fire control and fire related communication systems and equipment

Planning & Budgeting for the new systems installation and the maintenance of fire hydrants.

Represent in Audits - EMS OHSAS, External Govt. Fire & safety audits

Conduct Mock drills & provide regular to employees on Fire extinguishers, Fire Hydrant systems, Fire Detection System & fire prevention

Liaison with BMC / fire brigade

Knowledge of ETP/STP, FIRE drills, MOCK Drills, OEP, OFF EP, Compliances etc

Others Activities:-

Develop Safety culture in plant- Ensure Zero Accidents- Fire evacuation model- Maintains Fire Fighting Equipment and other specialized vehicles; Operates Fire Pump and Mutual Aid between neighbour companies - Participates in Fire prevention inspections- Participates in Fire drill competitions- Documentation and record Maintenance of all fire incident, accident report, Near Miss report. Maintain Fire Safety Policies Internal & External area Fire Safety and pre-emptive action taken to reduce Fire risk

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables -



+ Should go in all shifts and manage shifts efficiently (Manpower and Resource.
+ Maintain healthy relations with workmen.
+ Should maintain healthy relations with customers and suppliers.
+ Prepare and execute Safety aspects.
+ Should be able to train workmen.
+ Should have ability to suggest, implement and present the improvement Kaizen

General Requirements :-



+ Experience of EHS and core ability
+ Use of Safety Tools
+ Sound knowledge about Gov agencies and external audits
+ TPM , 5'S' , DWM & system knowledge.
+ People Management / IR issue handling / conflict Management
+ Knowledge/working experience of SAP systems
+ Knowledge of Problem solving tools like DOE , QC story, & PQCDSM approach.
+ Knowledge of ETP/STP, FIRE drills, MOCK Drills, OEP, OFF EP, compliances etc
