Role Overview:



This role is at the intersection of accounts, payment gateway and core operations at danamojo. 50% of the role will be related to accounting, banking and payment gateway operations while 50% of the role will be related to our core NGO operations around onboarding, servicing NGO relationships and supporting NGOs with any issues that they may be having. This is a great role for anyone who is proficient at accounting and banking related activities and looking to grow into other operational spheres with an opportunity to learn payment gateway related operations and NGO related compliances.

Roles & Responsibilities



A person in this role will own and execute on Accounting & Banking related activities::

Invoicing & Payments:

Responsible for all client invoicing, revenue collection and vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner.

Banking & Reconciliation:

Manage daily banking activities, including monitoring payments, collections and performing comprehensive bank reconciliation.

Payment Gateway Operations:

Will manage all operational aspects related to payment gateways

Liasoning with outsourced Accounts Team:

As the internal Accounts person, you will liasion with the external accounts team to provide them whatever data they require and resolve all their queries. The external Accounts team will maintain the core accounts of danamojo

Client Onboarding Documentation:

Manage the collection, verification, and processing of all required financial and compliance documentation (e.g., 12A, 80G, FCRA, Bank Details etc) during the NGO onboarding process.

Operational Support:

Provide support to NGOs in the post onboarding phase

Expectations & Skills Required



Accounting Knowledge:

Basic understanding of accounting principles related to invoices, payments, TDS etc.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced degree of Excel capabilities

is critical for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.

Attention to Detail:

Absolute attention to detail is mandatory, given the operational nature of the role

Communication:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required for internal reporting and external communication with auditors/clients on financial matters.

Independence:

Ability to operate independently with a high degree of ownership and responsiveness.

Qualifications



Education:

B. Com is mandatory. MBA (Finance) or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA-Inter/CMA-Inter) preferred.

Experience:

Overall

2 to 7 years of experience

2 years of accounting experience
