sectors. The incumbent will support the General Manager - BD (Projects) in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and achieving revenue and profit targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop project forwarding and logistics business, focusing on heavy-lift, ODC, OWC, and multimodal transport solutions (sea, air, road, rail, barge, warehousing).
Analyze RFQs and create optimal technical and commercial solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle - from quotation, negotiation, and contract finalization to payment follow-up.
Identify new accounts and develop long-term partnerships with strategic clients.
Gather market intelligence on competitors, industry trends, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
Report activities through CRM tools, maintain visit plans, and ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong background in
project logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management
.
In-depth knowledge of
Oil & Gas industry
(upstream and downstream).
Excellent
sales, negotiation, and relationship management
skills.
Proactive problem-solving, customer focus, and ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and SAP BW
.
Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate (Engineering or Business) with
MBA preferred
