ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


for AEM Admin resource(s):



Key Responsibilities:



Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of AEM (on-premise/AWS/Adobe Cloud Service). Monitor AEM server performance and availability; respond to and resolve issues in a timely manner. Handle deployments and release management (packages, bundles, configurations). Configure dispatcher and caching layers for optimal performance. Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls within AEM. Work closely with development and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines and AEM deployments. Monitor error logs, configure alerts, and ensure backup and disaster recovery strategies are in place. Collaborate with Adobe support to troubleshoot and resolve critical issues. Support integrations between AEM and other enterprise platforms (e.g., DAM, Analytics, Identity services). Maintain documentation for AEM environments and admin processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



6+ years of experience administering Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.x or higher. Strong understanding of AEM architecture, including author/publish instances, dispatcher, and replication agents. Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, Apache HTTP Server, and dispatcher module configuration. Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Ansible (optional but preferred). Understanding of SSL, LDAP, SAML, and other security protocols. Familiarity with AEM-as-a-Cloud-Service (optional but preferred). Ability to manage performance tuning, thread dumps, and log analysis. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) - AEM Sites Architect / DevOps Engineer (preferred). Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace). Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
