Job Overview:

The DWC Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) pipe extrusion machines to ensure consistent production of high-quality pipes in accordance with defined standards, safety regulations, and production targets. The role involves machine setup, process control, quality checks, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with maintenance and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, and cooling systems etc. in achieving production targets and minimizing wastage. Maintain daily production logs, downtime records, and material consumption reports. Record machine parameters, output quantities, and rejection data. Inspect pipes for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, wall thickness, and corrugation quality. Ensure pipes meet applicable IS standards. Identify defects such as deformation, uneven corrugation, dimensional variation etc. Perform basic preventive maintenance such as cleaning dies, molds, vacuum tanks, cooling systems etc. Maintain proper lubrication and housekeeping around the machine area. Follow all safety procedures and machine safety protocols. Work closely with technicians, supervisors, an quality inspectors. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity and quality.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience operating DWC pipe extrusion machines. Knowledge of extrusion process parameters and raw materials. Understanding of molds, corrugators, cooling systems, vacuum systems etc. Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Willingness to work in shifts (day/night shifts as applicable)

Experience:

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in operating DWC pipe machines.

Pay: ?22,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
