? Administrative Responsibility :
o Arranging support to other professionals like nurses, Dietician, Bio Medical Engineer and Physiotherapist.
o Writing letters and reports
o Maintain patient records
o Write the treatment in the case papers in detail.
o Complete all the duties assign by the consultant.
o Visit the Camps or any other Clinical duty assigned.
o Maintain Discipline in the wards
? Responsibility towards Patient care
o Making a diagnosis.
o Fill the form of initial assessment
o Giving General Guidance
o Prescribing Medicine
o Recommending Treatment
o Conducting Minor Surgeries
o Helping the consultant in the treatment and surgeries
o Making Discharge of the Patient
o Take round of the ward daily two times.
o arrange blood from the blood bank and with the help of nursing staff transfuse blood to the patients.
o Taking Blood Transfusion consent from the patient.
o Strictly follow the infection control practices in the wards, OT and in ICCU.
o Assign proper task to the interns and check them time to time.
o At the time of Disaster take decisions in the absence of Unit in charge or Incident commander.
? Training and development of the staff
o Taking training to further develop skills
o Attend all NABH trainings
o Arrange and participate in professional and social functions of the staff.
