JOB TITLE: Duty Medical OfficerJob Specification

Qualification :

MBBS/ Post Graduate Diploma in any field after MBBS from any recognized university with proper registration in MCI or State.

Skills :

o A genuine desire to help people.

o Excellent communication and listening skills.

o The ability to keep up to date with developments in patient care.

o Compassion, integrity and sense of responsibility.

o The ability to work consistently with high professional standards

:

? Administrative Responsibility :

o Arranging support to other professionals like nurses, Dietician, Bio Medical Engineer and Physiotherapist.

o Writing letters and reports

o Maintain patient records

o Write the treatment in the case papers in detail.

o Complete all the duties assign by the consultant.

o Visit the Camps or any other Clinical duty assigned.

o Maintain Discipline in the wards

? Responsibility towards Patient care

o Making a diagnosis.

o Fill the form of initial assessment

o Giving General Guidance

o Prescribing Medicine

Recommending Treatment
o Conducting Minor Surgeries

o Helping the consultant in the treatment and surgeries

o Making Discharge of the Patient

o Take round of the ward daily two times.

o Arrange blood from the blood bank and with the help of nursing staff transfuse blood to the patients.

o Taking Blood Transfusion consent from the patient.

o Strictly follow the infection control practices in the wards, OT and in ICCU.

o Assign proper task to the interns and check them time to time.

o At the time of Disaster take decisions in the absence of Unit in charge or Incident commander.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
