Job Description

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide

round-the-clock medical care

to in-patients and emergency patients. Conduct

initial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

of patients. Attend

medical emergencies, trauma cases, and code blue situations

. Stabilize critically ill patients and arrange for

referral or ICU admission

when required. Prescribe medications and ensure

proper treatment protocols

are followed.

Patient Monitoring & Documentation

Perform

regular ward rounds

and monitor patient progress. Maintain

accurate medical records

, case sheets, and treatment notes. Update patient attendants regarding

condition and treatment plan

. Ensure proper

handover during shift change

.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with

consultants, specialists, nursing staff, and paramedical teams

. Inform consultants promptly about

patient deterioration or complications

. Assist consultants during

procedures and emergency interventions

.

Emergency & Casualty Services

Manage patients in

Emergency / Casualty department

. Perform

basic and advanced life support

(BLS/ACLS) as trained. Handle medico-legal cases (MLC) and ensure

proper documentation

.

Compliance & Safety

Follow

hospital policies, NABH/NABL standards

, and ethical guidelines. Ensure

infection control practices

are strictly followed. Adhere to

patient safety and confidentiality norms

.

Administrative Duties

Prepare and submit

daily census and duty reports

. Ensure availability of

emergency drugs and equipment

. Participate in

clinical audits, meetings, and training programs

.

Professional Conduct

Maintain

professional behavior

and ethical medical practice. Provide compassionate care and uphold

patient rights

. Support hospital reputation through

quality service delivery

.

Qualifications & Skills (Optional Section)

MBBS

with valid Medical Council registration. Freshers / experienced candidates as per hospital policy. Good

clinical judgment

, communication, and emergency handling skills. Willingness to work in

rotational shifts
