Duty Medical Officer
for our Night Shift operations.
Job Responsibilities
Provide continuous medical supervision for inpatients and emergency cases during night hours.
Conduct initial assessment, monitoring, and management of patients as per hospital protocols.
Assist consultants during emergency procedures and respond promptly to critical cases.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient conditions, vitals, treatments, and observations.
Handle patient admissions, transfers, and coordinate with nursing staff for care delivery.
Manage emergency calls, stabilize patients, and escalate to specialists when required.
Ensure smooth handover to the morning medical team with detailed reporting.
Maintain professional communication with patient families and hospital staff.
Required Qualifications & Skills
MBBS degree
from a recognized institution (mandatory).
Valid medical registration (TNMC).
0-3 years of experience as a DMO / Medical Officer preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and emergency handling skills.
Good communication and ability to work independently during night duty.
Shift Details
Night Shift:
8 PM - 8 AM (12-hour shift)
Weekly rotational offs as per hospital policy
