Key Responsibilities:Patient Care & Clinical Management
Perform initial assessment and examination of patients on admission.
Monitor vital signs, review treatment plans, and provide timely clinical interventions.
Assist consultants during rounds and implement instructions promptly.
Manage emergency cases and stabilize patients before consultant intervention.
Perform procedures such as IV cannulation, catheterization, Ryle's tube insertion, and basic life support.
Ensure proper handover of patient status at shift change.
Emergency & ICU Support
Respond rapidly to emergency calls and code situations.
Assist in CPR, airway management, and emergency procedures.
Monitor critical patients in ICU, ER, and wards.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with nursing staff, technicians, and consultants for patient care.
Ensure prompt communication of abnormal reports, critical values, and patient status changes.
Update patient attendants with necessary information as per hospital policy.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate case sheets, progress notes, and treatment charts.
Ensure timely documentation of all clinical events and interventions.
Verify medication orders and maintain proper record keeping.
Compliance & Protocols
Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
Ensure ethical, professional, and evidence-based medical practice.
Qualifications & Requirements:
MBBS degree from a recognized university.
Valid Medical Council registration.
0-3 years of experience as DMO / ICU / ER preferred (freshers can also apply).
Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle emergencies.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts (day/night).
