Job responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment & Management
Conduct initial examination of patients arriving in OPD, ER, or inpatient wards.
Take detailed medical history and perform comprehensive physical assessments.
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and clinical progress.
Initiate appropriate medical treatment in line with hospital protocols.
Prioritise and triage emergency cases.
2. Emergency Care
Provide immediate medical intervention for critically ill or injured patients.
Perform life-saving procedures (e.g., basic airway management, CPR, IV access).
Assist in stabilising patients before referral or specialist intervention.
3. Inpatient Care
Conduct ward rounds and update case notes, medication charts, and treatment plans.
Respond promptly to inpatient calls for deterioration or acute issues.
Ensure continuity of care during shift handovers.
4. Coordination & Communication
Communicate patient status and updates to consultants and senior medical staff.
Collaborate with nursing staff, technicians, and allied healthcare teams.
Ensure proper documentation and timely reporting of incidents or clinical changes.
5. Diagnostic & Therapeutic Procedures
Order and interpret basic diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, ECG, etc.).
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and oxygen therapy.
Assist in minor procedures as required.
6. Compliance & Safety
Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and medical ethics.
Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and emergency drills.
Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
