Execute treatment orders as advised by consultants
Monitor patient condition and report abnormalities promptly
Emergency & Ward Management
Attend
emergency cases
and stabilize patients
Assist in emergency procedures and resuscitation
Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
Ensure timely referral to consultants and specialists
Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate
medical records, progress notes, and case sheets
Ensure completion of
consents, treatment orders, and medico-legal documents
Follow hospital policies and
NABH documentation standards
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with consultants, nurses, paramedical staff, and support services
Communicate patient status to relatives as per hospital protocol
Handover patients properly during shift changes
Patient Safety & Quality
Adhere to
clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety guidelines
Report incidents, near misses, and adverse events
Participate in audits, mortality & morbidity meetings
Ethics & Professional Conduct
Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Ensure respectful behavior toward patients and colleagues
Follow duty roster, attendance, and discipline policies
