We are seeking a responsible and skilled

Duty Medical Officer (DMO)

to support day-to-day operations in our

Blood Bank

. The candidate will oversee donor assessment, ensure safe blood collection practices, manage medical emergencies, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Freshers with required qualifications are also welcome.

Responsibilities

Conduct donor medical examinations, screening, and eligibility assessment Supervise blood collection procedures and ensure donor safety Manage any adverse donor reactions or medical emergencies during donation Oversee blood component preparation and ensure quality standards Verify and approve blood components before issue Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Assist in organizing and supervising blood donation camps Coordinate with nursing staff, lab technicians, and social workers for smooth workflow Provide guidance and support to donors and staff as needed

Qualifications

MBBS degree Valid medical registration/license Experience in a blood bank, emergency, or clinical setting preferred (but not mandatory) Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills Ability to handle emergencies with confidence
