Job Summary
The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) at
Progenesis IVF Center
is responsible for providing continuous clinical support and patient care within the fertility and IVF setup. The role includes assisting consultants in clinical procedures, managing patient interactions, coordinating investigations, and ensuring accurate documentation while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
Roles and Responsibilities1. Patient Care and Consultation
Conduct patient assessments, OPD consultations, and follow-up visits.
Explain diagnostic findings, treatment protocols, and procedures to patients.
Address patient concerns with empathy, professionalism, and clinical accuracy.
2. Diagnostic and Clinical Support
Assist consultants in diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds and hormonal assessments.
Support IVF, IUI, mock embryo transfers, and related clinical processes.
Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures and clinical notes.
3. Prescription and Medication Management
Prepare and review prescriptions under consultant guidance.
Monitor patient responses to medications and report observations to consultants.
Add clear instructions and remarks to prescriptions as advised.
4. Investigations and Test Coordination
Explain diagnostic tests and investigation processes to patients.
Assist in interpreting reports and planning next steps under consultant supervision.
5. Donor and Recipient Coordination
Support donor screening and donor-recipient coordination as per clinic protocols.
Monitor donor response to stimulation protocols and maintain records.
6. Sonography Assistance
Assist during ultrasound and sonography procedures.
Document findings accurately and promptly.
7. Telephonic and Online Patient Support
Handle patient queries through calls and digital platforms.
Schedule appointments and follow-ups.
Provide telephonic counseling when required.
8. Antenatal Care (ANC) Support
Assist in antenatal scans and monitoring of early pregnancy cases.
Maintain proper ANC documentation and refer cases when required.
9. Sperm Freezing & Preservation Support
Explain sperm freezing procedures to patients.
Coordinate sample collection, consents, and payments.
Liaise with andrology and OPD coordination teams.
10. Administrative & Data Management
Maintain EMR and clinic management systems.
Use Google Sheets for patient tracking and reporting.
Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
11. Outreach & Clinical Support
Assist in outreach programs, fertility camps, and satellite OPDs.
Participate in clinical meetings and patient education sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements
BAMS or BHMS degree (mandatory)
Registration with respective medical council
Experience in IVF / fertility / gynecology setup preferred
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Willingness to work in shifts and clinical environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?30,000.00 per month
