The Duty Manager at ODE Spa Wellness is responsible for supervising daily spa operations while driving revenue through effective sales strategies. The role ensures exceptional guest service, smooth operational flow, staff coordination, and achievement of sales targets. The Duty Manager acts as the in-charge during assigned shifts and ensures adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Generation
Actively promote spa services, packages, memberships, and retail products to maximize sales.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Train and motivate the team on upselling and cross-selling techniques.
Track sales performance, maintain MIS reports, and provide suggestions to improve revenue.
Manage customer inquiries, conversions, and follow-ups for appointments and memberships.
2. Operations Management
Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring smooth functioning of reception, therapy rooms, and housekeeping.
Monitor therapist schedules, room readiness, and service delivery standards.
Handle guest check-ins, billing, appointments, and service coordination.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and ambiance standards as per ODE Spa protocols.
3. Customer Service & Guest Relations
Ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction at all times.
Handle guest complaints professionally and provide timely resolutions.
Build strong customer relationships to increase repeat business.
Ensure personalized service experiences for VIP and loyal clients.
4. Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise front office staff, therapists, and housekeeping during the shift.
Conduct shift briefings, allocate tasks, and ensure staff discipline.
Support onboarding and training of new staff.
Motivate the team towards achieving operational and sales goals.
5. Administration & Compliance
Manage cash handling, billing accuracy, and end-of-day reports.
Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and operational guidelines.
Maintain inventory of supplies, oils, linens, and coordinate replenishment.
Report maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality/Wellness/Business preferred.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in spa, wellness, hospitality, or retail operations.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to lead a team and manage shift responsibilities independently.
Knowledge of spa services, therapies, and wellness products is an added advantage.
