Job Summary:
The Duty Manager supports the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff coordination, and compliance with company standards. This role plays an important part in maintaining store performance during assigned shifts and supporting overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure customers receive exceptional service; address and resolve customer concerns promptly.
Team Supervision:
Support, guide, and motivate staff during shifts; assist with staff scheduling and development; help onboard new employees when required.
Operational Support:
Oversee daily store operations during assigned duty hours; assist with budget awareness and revenue monitoring.
Inventory Monitoring:
Assist in monitoring stock levels, coordinating replenishment, and maintaining vendor communication as needed.
Strategic Support:
Contribute to marketing and promotional activities; help observe and report market trends to assist decision-making.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure store policies, health, and safety regulations are followed at all times.
Reporting:
Assist in preparing reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in retail (Supermarket/Grocery), preferably in a supervisory or senior staff role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-focused mindset with understanding of retail operations.
Ability to analyze basic sales and market data to support store strategies.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
