Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience:
Provide excellent service, handle VIP arrivals and departures, and resolve guest issues or complaints.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure daily operations run smoothly, oversee staff performance, and maintain cleanliness and order in public areas and guest rooms.
Staff Management:
Supervise and guide the front office team, delegate duties, schedule shifts, and provide leadership to the team.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
Liaise with various departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Security and Safety:
Implement and enforce hotel security protocols and emergency procedures.
System Management:
Use and troubleshoot the hotel's Property Management System and other relevant software for reservations and operations.
Financial Management:
Ensure adherence to budget guidelines and may be involved in auditing.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Customer Service:
A strong customer-centric approach and the ability to provide outstanding service.
Leadership & Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong leadership, motivational, and delegation abilities.
Problem-Solving:
Good analytical and decision-making skills to handle multifarious operational concerns.
Technical Proficiency:
Knowledge of hotel management software, such as the Property Management System (PMS).
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain efficiency.
Adaptability:
Willingness and ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience:
Typically requires several years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
