Lotus Polyclinic at Ponmar is looking for a responsible and patient-focused duty doctor to manage daily OPD, attend walk-in patients, and coordinate with specialists as required during day shift timings (9 am to 5 pm).
Key Responsibilities
Examine and consult OPD patients and provide primary medical care.
Take a detailed medical history and perform basic clinical examinations.
Prescribe medicines, investigations, and minor procedures as required.
Coordinate with senior consultants/specialists for referrals when needed.
Maintain patient records, prescriptions, and progress notes properly.
Handle basic emergencies until specialist care is arranged.
Ensure professional, polite, and ethical interaction with all patients.
Required Qualification & Skills
MBBS from a recognized university.
Valid registration with the State/Indian Medical Council.
Freshers and experienced doctors can apply.
Good clinical knowledge and interest in OPD practice.
Strong communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
Preferably residing in or near Ponmar / Medavakkam / Mambakkam / Ottiyambakkam / Vandalur surroundings.
