Provide 24?hour medical coverage for emergencies, inpatient care, and on?call services in a hospital/clinic setting.
- Emergency & Acute Care - Assess, triage, stabilize, and treat critical patients perform life?saving procedures (e.g., intubation, CPR).
- In?patient Rounds - Conduct daily ward rounds, review labs/imaging, adjust treatment plans, document progress notes.
- On?Call Duties - Respond to urgent calls, coordinate with specialists, arrange transfers, and manage crises outside regular hours.
- Team Coordination - Supervise junior doctors, nurses, and allied health staff; lead code?blue events and rapid?response teams.
- Documentation & Compliance - Complete accurate medical records, consent forms, death certificates, and ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and medico?legal standards.
- Education & Training - Mentor interns/residents, conduct case discussions, and stay updated on clinical guidelines and protocols.
