Provide timely medical assessment, diagnosis, and initial treatment to patients on duty.
Monitor patient condition regularly and document clinical findings accurately.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and perform necessary life-saving procedures.
Coordinate with consultants and specialists for referrals and case escalation.
Prescribe medications and treatments as per hospital protocols and ethical standards.
Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.
Supervise and guide nursing and paramedical staff during duty hours.
Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and discharge summaries.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and patient safety norms.
Communicate effectively with patients and attendants regarding treatment and progress.
