Job Title: Due Diligence & Asset Tracing Analyst (Forensic Investigations)

Location: Gurgaon, India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our forensic investigation team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting end-to-end investigations, including due diligence, asset tracing, and forensic reviews using open-source intelligence (OSINT), manual methods, and analytical reasoning--without reliance on forensic tools or automation software.

Candidates with a working knowledge of forensic accounting will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive due diligence investigations on individuals and entities using publicly available information. Perform manual asset tracing, including locating and analyzing hidden or undisclosed assets. Execute end-to-end forensic investigations, collecting and analyzing information to support legal, regulatory, or internal reviews. Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported investigation reports. Work independently and collaboratively with legal, compliance, and financial teams. Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards throughout the investigation process. Identify risk indicators, red flags, and inconsistencies in data manually and via open research techniques.
Requirements:

1-2 years of hands-on experience in due diligence, vendor due diligence (VDD), senior management due diligence (SMDD), third party due diligence (TPDD), asset tracing, and forensic investigation. Strong analytical skills with ability to draw inferences from limited or fragmented information. Experience in using manual investigation techniques including OSINT, public databases, and legal/regulatory records. Familiarity with legal structures, financial documents, and corporate filings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Criminology, Law, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of forensic accounting concepts is a strong plus.
