Job Title:- DTP operator Reports To:- The DTP operator will report to Head of department of editorial team. Job Overview:- We are a reputed childrens educational books publishers. Our growing publication is searching for an experienced DTP Operator to join our creative team. You will perform a range of tasks including all DTP and typing related works for our textbooks, test papers, assignments, etc. Responsibilities and Duties:- \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that all projects are delivered on a timely basis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of publishing with regard to the specification of page size, binding and cutting area. \xe2\x80\xa2 Should have previous experience in Typing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Creative & confident DTP operator preferably from a textbook publishing/printing firm. Qualifications:- \xe2\x80\xa2 Education level : Graduated from any recognized University \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience : More than three years experience. Specific skills:- \xe2\x80\xa2 Should have hands-on experience with PDF corrections. \xe2\x80\xa2 Should have hands-on experience in typesetting, Layout, designing of inside text pages, and cover designs for textbook publishing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Should understand and be able to perform text/picture corrections on PDF files in case open files are not available. \xe2\x80\xa2 Should have hands-on experience in InDesign and Corel draw. Personal characteristics:- \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience in team and time management \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to follow strict deadlines
