We are looking for a

Graphic Designer / DTP Operator

with strong experience in

academic book design

and proficiency in

Adobe InDesign

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing, structured, and print-ready academic books that adhere to educational and publication standards.

Contract Basis

Duration: 6 Months

Work From Office Only

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Design and layout

academic books, textbooks, and educational materials

using Adobe InDesign. Work closely with content and subject matter experts to ensure designs align with learning objectives. Develop

page layouts, cover designs, infographics, and diagrams

suited for print and digital formats. Maintain consistency in typography, color schemes, and formatting across all pages. Prepare

print-ready files (PDF/X standards)

and coordinate with printers for final output. Implement feedback from editors and project coordinators within timelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign

(mandatory). Minimum

2-3 years of experience

in designing books, preferably

academic or educational publications

. Good understanding of

print design principles

, layout composition, and typography. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Experience in

K-12, higher education, or academic publishing

. Understanding of

typesetting, page flow, and content structuring

for textbooks.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
