Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative DTP Operator/Indesign Operator to contribute to the creation and refinement of various digital and print materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout techniques, coupled with excellent communication skills to collaborate with our team effectively.

Responsibilities:

Design and format various types of content, including but not limited to reports, presentations, brochures, manuals, and newsletters, ensuring consistency in branding and visual appeal. Utilize desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to create and edit graphics, illustrations, and layouts for print and digital media. Collaborate with writers, editors, and subject matter experts to conceptualize and develop engaging content that meets project objectives and client requirements. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively. Ensure accuracy and quality control by reviewing and proofreading content for errors in grammar, punctuation, and formatting. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design, typography, and content development to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our materials. Provide technical support and assistance to team members on DTP-related issues, troubleshooting problems as needed. Maintain organized files and archives of digital assets and project materials for easy access and retrieval.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a DTP Operator, Graphic Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design projects. Proficiency in desktop publishing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Excellent knowledge of design principles, typography, and layout techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working on multiple projects under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with printing processes and specifications for various types of media. Experience in content development and writing/editing skills are a plus. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and software updates in the design industry.
