Job Overview

We are looking for a

dynamic and certified Drone Pilot

with hands-on experience in

LiDAR-based and infrastructure drone operations

. The ideal candidate must be technically sound, field-ready, and confident in interacting with clients, engineers, and project teams during on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute

LiDAR, inspection, and mapping missions

using RTK-enabled UAVs (e.g., DJI M400 + L2). Operate drones for

infrastructure projects

such as highway, railway, powerline, and land surveys. Ensure strict compliance with

DGCA regulations

and maintain flight logs and maintenance records. Perform

pre-flight and post-flight checks

, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage on-site logistics. Coordinate with field teams, local officials, and clients to ensure smooth operations. Manage

GCPs, LiDAR data collection, and accuracy verification

. On non-field days, assist from the

Chennai office

with mission planning, data management, and equipment upkeep. Be ready for

frequent travel

and extended stays at project locations when required.

Required Qualifications

Valid

DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC)

- Small or Medium category. Minimum

2 years of professional drone flying experience

. Hands-on experience with

LiDAR drones

(DJI L1/L2 or similar payloads). Familiarity with

RTK, GPS, and photogrammetry

workflows. Working knowledge of

DJI Pilot 2, DJI Terra, Pix4D, or similar software

. Ability to work in dynamic field conditions with strong situational awareness.

Soft Skills & Personality

Energetic, proactive, and field-smart

, with strong communication skills. Comfortable interacting with site engineers, authorities, and clients on the field. Team player with a problem-solving mindset and positive attitude under pressure. Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel extensively.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to terrain mapping, volumetric analysis, or infrastructure surveys. Understanding of data formats (LAS/LAZ, DEM/DTM, orthomosaic). Technical or engineering diploma preferred.
