Role and Responsibilities:
Plan and execute flight test plans for new software features, electronics, sensors, and
payloads.
Analyse weather forecasts to ensure safe flights Document pre- and post-flight logs
Maintaining flight records. - plan missions across agriculture farms and maintenance of
data.
Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical integration of new hardware components on
the internal fleet of test vehicles for R&D and testing.
Troubleshoot and debug any components of a drone in the office or in the field.
Maintenance of vehicles - keep the fleet ready for flight tests.
Travel all across India to execute agricultural spraying projects.
Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule during peak periods
Check drones before a flight to ensure safe and proper Agri operation
Should possess a fundamental understanding of batteries, including their power ratings
and the types of batteries being utilized.
Piloting the drone on projects in a way that adheres to the company's policies on safety and
privacy, while ensuring delivery of quality exceeds client expectations.
Take care of equipment in your custody to ensure it remains fully functional and in prime
operating conditions at all times.
Ensuring that there is no material loss to the company resulting from missing/misplaced
hardware when out on projects.
Scheduling and undertaking routine maintenance of equipment assigned to you and
ensuring it is in prime operating conditions at all times.
Experience:
Must have Remote pilot certificate from DGCA.
Must have experience in Agriculture drone operations and GCS.
Must hold or be able to obtain an UNMANNED AIRCRAFT OPERATOR PERMIT (UAOP)
from DGCA-approved Flying Training Organization (FTO), and must be comfortable
working outdoors in a remote environment.
Experience in planning spray missions on Farm assistant or similar software, and surety of
proper execution.
Experience with terrain sensors & obstacle sensors
Knowledge regarding the flow rate of spray pumps.
Awareness of the boundary mapping and safe margins
Basic knowledge of electrical test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope) and UAS sensors.
Ability to work hands-on with electro-mechanical systems including assembly, disassembly,
testing, and troubleshooting.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good RF communications fundamentals.
Eligibility:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, geospatial, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience operating agricultural spraying drones, with a minimum of 500
+ flying hours.
Must have experience in agriculture spraying drones.
Ability to fly multi-rotors in both manual and autonomous modes.
Experience flying UAVs for commercial purposes
