Job Purpose:
To operate, maintain, and manage drone equipment for aerial data collection, photography, videography, and surveying purposes, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate drones for aerial photography, videography, and mapping as per project requirements.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure drone readiness and safety.
Capture, process, and manage aerial footage or survey data as required.
Maintain detailed flight logs and ensure compliance with DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) guidelines.
Coordinate with on-site teams and clients during drone operations.
Troubleshoot basic hardware or software issues related to drone equipment.
Travel to various project locations as required across India.
Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and storage of drones and related accessories.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in operating professional drones (e.g., DJI, Autel, etc.) for photo/video or mapping work.
Knowledge of DGCA regulations and drone operation safety standards.
Familiarity with drone flight planning and navigation software (e.g., DJI Pilot, DroneDeploy, Pix4D).
Basic knowledge of photography/videography techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (preferred but not mandatory).
Willingness to travel frequently for field assignments.
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, Geomatics, Photography, or any related technical field preferred.
